Curry Ltd. 24-26 Goswell Road, London. The British electrical
and cycling company Curry's Cycle Stores put out this label. It appears
they also put out the same label as a paste-on over Edison Bell Winner
records (as this one may well be). Details from Field, [F].
Note: Field lists a specific record with this label, of the Friars Society orchestra, that is Leon Rapollo's New Orleans Rhythm Kings, so their may be some jazz gems amongst the recordings of the Scots Guards. Rust [R] writes: "While it is most unlikely that Westport issued anything more interesting than straightforward dance music and popular songs of the time, it is fascinating to speculate on exactly what else remains to be discovered on this plain but striking label."
