See also EMBASSY Electron Record Company. Made in Australia. According to Miller [M], these were pressed by Clifford Industries for Coles stores, and were the forerunner of the Embassy label. The masters came from Cameo, Romeo and Gennett. As it is not listed in Miller [J], there appears to have been no jazz records pressed under this label. The trademark ‘C' within a laurel wreath is a Coles trademark - I can remember it on other products as a child in the fifties. Miller [M] notes a catalog range from 5000 to 5123, released 1928/1929.
